This site is a tribute to Julie Henderson (nee Wylie). The family are saddened to announce that on the 8th August 2022, after a brave battle with Glioblastoma, Julie found peace. In lieu of flowers, Julie wished to raise as much money as possible to help move forward in finding a cure for this cruel disease. She is much loved and will always be remembered.

Thoughts

Julie was a truly special person who always put other people first and dealt with every situation with kindness and love. I had the privilege of knowing her for over 20 years as every year she would give up her time to bring groups of children from Wharton Primary School to join us at Lledr Hall in North Wales. She was always a ray of sunshine and positivity who lit up the room with her smile and sparkling eyes. Nothing was too much trouble and her focus was always on ensuring every child had the best time they possibly could on each trip. She will be truly missed. From all of the staff at the Centre, our love and thoughts are with all the family.

Julie you are a guiding light. Even through your presence is no longer a few rooms down your guidance will always be with me. Throughout our many years teaching you have always known exactly the right thing to say or do. Any difficulties I had you always knew the best way to approach things, offering the best advice. I have always been in awe of how you say just the right thing! I will not forget all I’ve learnt from you and in difficult situations I’ll always think - what would Julie say or do! You have been such an influential soul that has touched many hearts and minds. ❤️
